RemovePDFPages (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates removepdfpages.net. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you visit our website or use our PDF tools.
We split our tools into two groups:
- Browser-local tools. Free tools for removing pages, merging, compressing, and signing PDFs run entirely in your web browser. We do not upload your files to our servers.
- Server-side conversion. The PDF-to-Word converter requires server-side processing. Your file is uploaded to our server over a secure connection, converted, and automatically deleted within five minutes.
1.2 Information We Collect
We collect as little information as possible.
Information you provide directly
- License key or purchase email when you contact support.
- Messages you send to support.
Information collected automatically
- Standard browser data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps.
- Usage data: tool pages visited, feature interactions, and error logs (without file contents).
- License key validation events: hashed or tokenized license key, device fingerprint, and validation timestamp, used to enforce the up-to-5-device limit.
Information stored locally on your device
localStorage: we may store a validated license key, UI preferences, and limited analytics identifiers in your browser.- We do not store your PDF files in
localStorageor cookies.
Information we do not collect
- We do not collect payment card numbers. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider.
- For browser-local tools, we do not receive your PDF file contents.
- We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. See the COPPA section below.
1.3 How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and maintain the website and tools.
- Validate license keys and enforce the 5-device limit.
- Process refunds and respond to support requests.
- Improve website performance and user experience through privacy-friendly analytics.
- Detect abuse, fraud, and security threats.
- Comply with legal obligations.

1.6 Payments
We do not store or process payment card information. All payments are handled by our third-party payment provider. When you purchase a license, the provider collects the information required to complete the transaction, including billing details. Their privacy policy governs that data.
1.7 Data Retention
- Analytics data: Retained for up to 12 months, then aggregated or deleted.
- License validation records: Retained for the life of the license plus 12 months for fraud prevention and support.
- Temporary PDF files (PDF-to-Word): Automatically deleted within 5 minutes of conversion.
- Support emails: Retained for up to 24 months.
1.8 Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your personal information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

1.9 International Transfers
Our infrastructure is provided by Cloudflare, which operates globally. By using the site, you acknowledge that your data may be processed in countries other than your own.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
